SunCoast Cleaning Services has provided answers to the following frequently-asked questions. We hope you find these answers informative. If you have any additional questions, we encourage you to give us a call.

WHO WILL CLEAN MY HOME?

Your home will be cleaned by a regularly-assigned team of 2 to 4 fully trained professionals (depending on the size of the job). For security and for your peace of mind, all employees are insured and bonded.

HOW WILL OUR RELATIONSHIP WORK?

Since we know that we must earn your continued patronage on each visit, we don’t use contracts. We depend on open communication and your candid evaluation of our service. If you are happy, tell a friend. If you are unhappy, tell us immediately.

WHAT CLEANING SERVICES CAN I EXPECT?

Our free in-home estimate allows us to better understand your cleaning needs and expectations. We will then try our best to accommodate your cleaning needs established in our consultation.

WHAT TIME WILL THE MAID TEAM BE AT MY HOME?

Our normal workdays are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In most cases, it is not possible to give a specific time of when we will be at your home; however, we will make every effort to meet your needs.

DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE THE CLEANING?

In order to give you the greatest value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up extraneous clothing, toys and other household items.

We treat your home with the greatest care; however, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning your home, we will make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced if repairs are not an option.

AM I POTENTIALLY LIABLE FOR WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCE OR TAXES?

Many homeowners are not aware of their potential liability regarding work-related injury and social security taxes for independent home service workers. SunCoast Cleaning Services carries Workers’ Compensation Insurance and is compliant with tax laws, so you don’t have to worry.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANY SUPPLIES OR EQUIPMENT?

For your convenience, we provide equipment and normal supplies. We will be pleased to accommodate you, should you wish for us to use your own preferred supplies.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHEN THE TEAM COMES?

Most of our customers are not. For security, only the professionals that clean your home have access to the keys. For added security, keys are coded individually and cross-referenced separately. If you choose not to provide a key and we are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, you may incur a lockout charge.

WHAT IF MY CLEANING FALLS ON A HOLIDAY?

If your scheduled cleaning falls on the observance of a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE THE SCHEDULED CLEANING?

Due to the advanced scheduling of the maid teams, we would appreciate a 24-hour notice for changes to avoid a $50 cancellation or turn-away fee.

HOW DO I PAY FOR SERVICE?

Most customers find it convenient to leave a check, payable to SunCoast Cleaning Services, on the kitchen table or countertop. Payment is made on the day of each visit. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
